Sandplay Therapy & Symbol Work

Sandplay therapy is a wholistic, expressive counselling method using symbol work that is for people of all ages. It allows exploration of one’s internal world and for that which is beyond words, increasing self-awareness for emotional healing and personal development.
Sandplay and Symbol Work therapy is effective in gently identifying and gently exploring the effects of trauma.
For children 10yrs + : I provide a safe, non-confronting space for expression and processing of experiences to enable childrens’ innate ability to self-heal.
Separated Parenting Counselling
For: separating and separated parents (in-person, online, phone)

Relationship breakdown and separation means sudden and unfamiliar emotional terrain to navigate for parents and children... I offer to help parents navigate this precarious phase to support healthier and more positive transitions for families.
Family separation creates a range of challenges - grief and loss, trauma, conflict, uncertainty, depression and fear, to name a few. Then parenting after separation is a whole new life phase for families to adjust to, it brings practical and emotional problems that require nuanced solutions.
I have extensive experience providing counselling and support to separating and separated families for grief and loss; strengthening the parent-child relationship; children's developmental needs during and after separation; improving communication, cooperative parenting in the children's interests; family safety; looking after yourself and moving forward.
